Communities across the country face growing challenges managing urban runoff, which is essential to reducing water quality impairments and flooding. But limited funding keeps cities from adopting, implementing and improving much-needed green infrastructure. With already stretched budgets, communities are looking to create incentives and leverage private sector financing or capital to support green stormwater infrastructure.

Join us Wednesday, Oct. 31, at noon ET / 9:00 a.m. PT for
Scaling Up: Impact Investing & Green Infrastructure, organized by TFN’s Urban Water Funders.

This webinar will explore how philanthropy can advance green infrastructure by using both grants and mission- or program-related investments. We will address the gap between investment expectations and water utility realities. We’ll also offer examples of specific projects in Philadelphia and other communities across the country. In addition, funders will get an update on new rules governing debt-financing by utilities that will unlock financing needed to scale up installations of green infrastructure.

Speakers will include:

Margaret Bowman, Spring Point Partners
