Oakland knows something about turning seemingly impossible challenges into movements for change. With its rich history of activism, organizing, and cultural innovation, it’s a fitting place to gather for Mission Possible, The Funders Network’s 2027 Annual Conference.

TFN27 is an opportunity to come together, consider what this moment is asking of philanthropy, and chart a path forward. Join us in Oakland on March 15 – 17! 

In true TFN fashion, the conference will emphasize learning from place and one another, with opportunities to exchange ideas, build relationships, and find moments of joyful connection.  

Schedule Overview: 

• Optional pre-conference activities begin Sunday, March 14, with afternoon sessions and our Night at the Movies. 
• Monday, March 15 features skill-building workshops, strategic concurrent sessions, timely plenaries and evening networking events. 
• Tuesday, March 16 takes us into the field for our signature learning-from-place mobile workshops, followed by our special Eat Here! Local Food reception.
• The Conference concludes on Wednesday, March 17 with short, interactive sessions, a closing plenary that wraps midday, and optional post-conference discussions.   

More detailed agenda, session and speaker information will be released beginning in mid-December.   

Registration is open to staff, directors, trustees, and donors of grantmaking organizations. If you’re unsure about your organization’s membership status or event eligibility, please reach out to membership@fundersnetwork.org. 

Early-bird rates are available through Jan. 31, 2027. Registration closes Friday, March 12 or when we reach venue capacity.

• Non-member: $1,900 

Regular Rates (after Jan. 31)

• TFN Member: $950
• Non-member: $2,000 

Single-day Rates

• Monday Only: $750
• Tuesday Only: $750
• Wednesday Only: $500

Single-day registration is available to both TFN members and non-members. Venue and lodging information, including the hotel room block, will be sent to event registrants.
